The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions: “delegate” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting FMO’s terms and conditions. “FMO” refers to Nederlandse Financierings-Maatschappij voor Ontwikkelingslanden N.V.
Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. All information provided will be treated as confidential by FMO. FMO will not use the information provided by you for any purposes other than for the particular FMO event you have registered.
Registration and conference details
All conference information including directions and hotel information can be found on this conference website. Registration for FMO events is possible by personal invitation only. Registration can only be completed online through this conference website and cannot be completed or confirmed until final payment of all relevant conference fees have been received in full.
Registration confirmation
FMO shall endeavor to accommodate its delegates’ requests, however, available places for conferences are limited and registration is therefore available on a “first-come, first-serve” basis. Confirmation of final registration will be confirmed by e-mail.
Conference fee
If applicable - Payment of the conference fee must be received prior to attending the conference. The conference fee includes lecture notes, lunches and refreshments. Travel, transportation (to and from the hotel) and accommodation costs are at your own expense. Conference facilities, transport between hotel and event locations, and associated costs will be covered by FMO (and sponsors).
Payment
If applicable - Delegates are requested to pay the conference fee by credit card through Buckaroo before finalizing the registration procedure online . Registration is complete once final payment is received.
Cancellation
If applicable - Cancellations or payments at short notice because inconvenience and may jeopardize the commercial viability of a course. Consequently, FMO will charge delegates the certain administration fees or surcharges in the event of cancellation, as follows:
(a) For Cancellations any time up to and including 21 days (i.e. 3 weeks) before the first day of the scheduled conference FMO will refund the conference fee less a 20% administration fee.
(b) Cancellations made within 21 days of the conference date will be subject to the full conference fee and no refund will be available.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing and sent via email (fmoevents@fmo.nl).
BY COMPLETING THE ONLINE REGISTRATION, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE CANCELLATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION.
Replacements
In the event that a delegate is unable to attend the conference for unforeseen reasons, it is possible to send a replacement to attend the conference. All replacements must be notified to FMO in writing (confirming the name of the replacement delegate) and sent via email (fmoevents@fmo.nl). No refund will be issued in such case and the delegate and replacement delegate shall arrange payment as between themselves.
Amendments to conference program
FMO reserves the right to cancel or modify any event in its conference program. Conference cancellations will be notified to any registered delegates with a full refund of the conference fee.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FMO excludes all representations and warranties relating to this website and its content and excludes all liabilities for damages arising out of or in connection with a delegate’s use of this website. FMO reserves the right to change these conditions from time to time as it sees fit. The laws of The Netherlands govern these terms and conditions.
